Welcome Message from Bob Bason, President of SBCGS

Message from our President: When everyone does a little.....the whole job gets done.  NEVER have I seen a better example of this saying that with our own Genealogical Society.  Hundreds of volunteers help.  We put in thousands of hours a year.....AND IT'S FUN!!

If you think there is a spot where you could make a small contribution of time and talent, and then let me know. Call me at 969-0203 or e-mail me at robertbason@yahoo.com.  We'll talk about the job, the time commitment and anything else that we need to discuss.

Here's to a GREAT 2013 for all of us - and for our happy and growing Genealogical Society. We welcome you to the SBCGS Sahyun Library!

Mission Statement: The Santa Barbara County Genealogy Society, a nonprofit corporation, provides educational opportunities for family history research, maintains a reference library and collects and preserves genealogical records.

Non-Profit Status: Established in 1972, the Santa Barbara County Genealogical Society was incorporated in 1986 as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization by a group of Santa Barbara genealogists living in the Santa Barbara County area.
